Recipe Ingredients

Eggplants 500 g
Tahini 2 tbsp
Garlic 2 cloves
Lemon Juice 2 tbsp
Salt 0,5 tsp

Cooking Recipe

The recipe for Baba Ganoush is very simple. Prick the eggplants with a fork and wrap in foil. Place the eggplants in an oven preheated to 200°C (390°F) and bake for 30-35 minutes.

While the eggplants are cooking, prepare the remaining ingredients. Chop the garlic very finely and measure out the tahini. If you decide to cook tahini yourself, we have a recipe for you on our website.

When the eggplants are cooked, remove them from the oven and wrap them in stretch film. Cut off the tip of the eggplant and simply squeeze out the inside, leaving the eggplant skin in the film. Afterwards, chop the eggplants with a knife or in a blender, as you prefer. If you like the salad with pieces, chop it with a knife.

Mix chopped eggplants with garlic, tahini, salt and lemon juice. Place baba ganoush on a plate and garnish with hot peppers and herbs.
