Wheat Flour 500 g
Milk 100 ml
Dry Yeast 1 tsp
Sugar 3 tbsp
Eggs 2 pcs

Cooking Recipe

For the moscow kalach recipe, dilute the yeast in warm milk, add sugar, salt and 3 tbsp. sifted flour. Mix well and put in heat for 30 minutes. When the dough is suitable, pour lightly beaten eggs, yolk, softened butter into it and mix. Without ceasing to interfere, gradually add flour and knead the dough. Knead the dough for at least 10 minutes, and then cover and put in heat for 1-1.5 hours. Knead the dough and again put in heat for 1-1.5 hours.

Divide the finished dough into 4 parts and roll each part 1 cm thick. Then, using a glass, squeeze out the rim, stepping back from the edge by 2 cm. You can also cut the arc with a knife, and then grease it with oil and bend it to the other end of the roll.

Put the rolls on a greased baking sheet, grease with the remaining yolk and put in heat for 20-30 minutes. When kalachi are ready, bake them at 200°C (390°F) for 30 minutes.
