For guduluf hand pies, you need to boil and mash potatoes without peel. Finely chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil. Divide mashed potatoes into 2 parts. In one part, add the fried onion and pepper.
Dissolve yeast in warm milk, add salt, sugar and flour. Knead the dough and set aside for 20 minutes in heat. Then add 1 egg, soda and the remaining half of the mashed potatoes to the dough.
Roll the kneaded dough into small balls. Inside each ball put the filling of potatoes and onions.
Place prepared guduluf hand pies on a greased baking sheet, brush lightly beaten egg on top and bake at 180°C (355°F) 30 minutes.
