Focaccia and tomato gratin - Italian recipe, if you don't stock focaccia, you can use white bread.

For the focaccia and tomato gratin recipe, mix the butter with the red pesto. Cut the focaccia into slices and brush one side with the oil and pesto mixture.
Arrange the focaccia slices in a baking dish, overlapping with the cheese slices and sliced tomatoes. In a separate bowl beat eggs with milk, salt and pepper. Pour the focaccia, tomatoes, cheese with the resulting mixture and let stand for 5 minutes.
Top everything with grated Parmesan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (355°F) for 40 minutes. Serve focaccia and tomato gratin immediately after baking, garnished with basil leaves.
