This Mexican chicken tortilla soup recipe is quick and easy to cook. Fried tortillas are added to the finished soup.

For the chicken tortilla soup, cover the chicken with cold water and boil. Remove the bones from the boiled chicken and cut the meat into small pieces.

Strain the broth and bring to a boil, finely chop the onion, fry until transparent and transfer to the broth.

After 10 minutes, add lemon juice, chopped chicken meat, salt and pepper. Boil the soup over medium heat for 10 minutes.

In the pan where the onion was fried, fry the toritia until golden brown, transfer to a napkin and let cool. Ready soup pour into bowls, add chopped hot peppers and broken tortilla and serve immediately.
