Bolognese sauce – cooking recipe of Italian sauce based on minced meat with the addition of vegetables and spices. Bolognese sauce is well suited for cooking lasagna, pasta and other Italian dishes.
Bolognese sauce ingredients
- Beef 300 g
- Onion 1 pcs
- Carrots 1 pcs
- Petiole celery 2 pcs
- Tomatoes 1-2 pcs
- Basil 2 twigs
- Olive oil 50 ml
Bolognese sauce recipe
To cook Bolognese sauce in a frying pan, heat the olive oil, add finely chopped onion and fry until transparent.
After the onion, add grated carrots, cut into small cubes of celery, stir and simmer for 3 minutes.
Twist the beef in a meat grinder and add to the pan with vegetables. Fry the minced meat, stirring occasionally, but not before frying. Chop canned tomatoes with a knife, peel and grinded fresh tomatoes, then combine everything. Add the prepared tomato mixture together with the liquid to the minced meat, mix everything well and simmer for 10-15 minutes over low heat.
At the end of frying, bolognese sauce season with salt, pepper and finely chopped basil. Bolognese sauce is well suited for cooking lasagna, pasta and other Italian dishes.
