Gogoși - shortcrust pastry sprinkled with chopped nuts, a recipe from Moldavian cuisine. A cherry jam berry is placed on the cookies, but if you don’t like cherries, you can put, for example, a currant berry or just any jam.

For gogoși cookies, grind butter, powdered sugar and egg yolks, add flour and knead the dough. The dough should be plastic.

Roll out the dough into a 1 cm thick layer and cut out circles with a diameter of 2.5 cm. Make an indentation in the center of each circle with your finger, brush with egg, sprinkle with chopped nuts and bake at 200°C (390°F) 15-20 minutes.

After the cookie gogoși is cooked, put one blackcurrant on it.
