Puff squares with onions - a recipe for Jewish cuisine, an easy and simple appetizer that can be prepared in a few minutes. The puff pastry does not need to be rolled out very thin, just stretched a little. Purple onions can be replaced with white onions; these two onions caramelize better and are juicier. Oregano can be replaced with herbs de Provence or fresh oregano. A wonderful holiday appetizer.
