Tzimmes – a Jewish cuisine recipe, cooked for the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah). In vegetable tsimes, potatoes or cauliflower can be added to carrots. To cook a tzimmes recipe, peel the carrots, cut them into small cubes and place in the pan. Add butter to the carrots and fry a little, until light golden brown.
