Salo with garlic and coriander is a recipe for Ukrainian cuisine. If you still have pieces of salty salo, and you are afraid that it will grow old and not tasty, you can cook salo with garlic or, as they say, salo spread. Excellent sandwiches of black or gray bread with fresh herbs are cooked from such a spread, and if the season allows, then fresh cucumbers, tomatoes or radishes can be added to these sandwiches with salo.

Recipe Ingredients

Salted Salo 100 g
Garlic 2-3 cloves
Black Pepper 4-5 pcs
Coriander 12-15 pcs

Cooking Recipe

For the recipe salo with garlic and coriander, cut the salo without peel into small cubes, peel the garlic. In a meat grinder with medium cells, twist the lard with garlic. One twist is enough.

Pound pepper and coriander in a mortar, if there is no mortar, you can grind it in a coffee grinder or use ground spices. Mix all the ingredients until smooth and taste - if there is not enough salt, then add salt. Put the salo with garlic in a glass dish, cover with a lid or cling film and refrigerate.
