Cooking Recipe

The nest of egg chips recipe is very simple. Boil the eggs, cover with cold water, and then peel. Peel the potatoes, then grate them into thin strips using a mandolin or grater and set aside.

Meanwhile, heat vegetable oil in a large saucepan when hot. Dip two frying baskets into hot oil, this is a tool that consists of two steel baskets (11 cm in diameter for a large basket and 9 cm for a small one) that will shape the potatoes into a basket shape. This is to prevent the potatoes from sticking to the basket while frying.

Place about 100g of grated potatoes in the large basket and press lightly against the smaller basket. Dip potatoes in hot oil and fry until golden brown.

When the potato nests are ready, drain the excess oil and carefully remove from the tool in which they were fried. Place the nests in a small bowl to keep their shape.

In a separate bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, pepper and salt. Pour the resulting vinaigrette sauce over the salad mix.

Next, while the nests are fried, cook the pink sauce, it is very simple. Mix mayonnaise and ketchup. You can use any ketchup you like.

It remains to make nests. Put nests of chips on a plate, put the seasoned salad mix in the nests, followed by a teaspoon of pink sauce. Quail eggs cut in half and inserted into the pink sauce.
