Fried chicken with potatoes and tomatoes - the recipe for Jamie Oliver is, as always, simple and tasty, made from ordinary and quite affordable products. Fresh herbs add a special flavor to potatoes and chicken in this recipe, from which a wonderful sauce is maked with the addition of olive or vegetable oil.

Recipe Ingredients

Potatoes 1 kg
For Sauce
Oregano 1 twig
Marjoram 1 twig
Olive Oil 2 tbsp
Vinegar 9% 1 tsp

Cooking Recipe

For the recipe of Jamie Oliver fried chicken with potatoes and tomatoes, remove the bones from the thighs and cut into two-finger strips.

Cut the skin of the tomatoes crosswise, pour boiling water over it, and after 2-3 minutes put the tomatoes in cold water and remove the skin. Squeeze juice from each tomato.

Grind oregano, marjoram and salt in a mortar. Then gradually pour in the olive oil, vinegar and season with black pepper.

Peel the potatoes, but if the potatoes are young, then it is not necessary to peel them. Pour potatoes into boiling salted water and boil until tender. Drain the water from the potatoes, and crush the potatoes lightly, you can use your fingers.

Put the thighs in a preheated pan skin side down and fry until golden brown.

Add potatoes to the fried chicken thighs, spread the tomatoes, pour over the sauce and put in the oven preheated to 200°C (390°F). Roast chicken for 30 minutes.

Serve fried chicken with potatoes and tomatoes with arugula, lemon, and a piece of butter on top.
