For a recipe like white cabbage with smoked brisket, finely chop the cabbage and mash with salt. Cut the smoked brisket into cubes and fry in a heated pan with 1 tbsp. vegetable oil until crispy. When the brisket is fried, it must be transferred to the cabbage along with the oil.
Mix mayonnaise with the remaining oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper and season the salad. Mix everything well and refrigerate for 15 minutes. After the white cabbage salad has cooled, transfer it to a salad bowl or to a prepared dish.
