Millet meatballs - a recipe for a simple dessert, such meatballs were often prepared in kindergartens, poured jelly on top and served. Often such meatballs were prepared from the remnants of millet porridge.

Recipe Ingredients

Millet 340 g
Milk 1 l
Sugar 1 tbsp
Breadcrumbs 0.5 cup
Butter 2-3 tbsp

Cooking Recipe

For millet meatballs recipe, boil milk, add salt, sugar, washed millet, mix and cook over medium heat for 15-20 minutes.

After the porridge, cover with a lid, wrap and put to swell for 20-30 minutes.

When the porridge has cooled down, mold the cutlets with wet hands, roll in breadcrumbs or flour and fry on all sides in butter or vegetable oil.

Serve millet patties warm, drizzle with melted butter, sour cream, jelly or sweet milk sauce.
