Gnocchi Ingrassato – simple and very satisfying bread recipe. Raw smoked sausage can be replaced with any other dried meat, and you can use several types of sausage and ham. This appetizer is served during lunch, gnocchi can be warm or cold. And so, and so delicious.

Recipe Ingredients

Wheat Flour 500 g
Water 1 cup
Butter 50 g
Smalec 50 g
Olive Oil 2 tbsp
Salt 1 pinch

Cooking Recipe

The gnocchi ingrassato recipe is very simple. Add softened butter and smalec to the sifted flour. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Pour the dissolved yeast into the flour, add a pinch of salt and knead.

Finely chop the sausage, the smaller the better. Stir the prepared sausage into the dough. Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes until it is smooth and no longer sticky. Cover the dough with cling film and leave in heat for 30 minutes.

Roll out the risen dough into a layer no more than 4-5 mm thick. Transfer the layer to a baking sheet greased with olive oil, sprinkle with coarse salt and cut into diamonds. Put the dough in heat for 1 hour, and then bake at 220°C (430°F) for 20-30 minutes. Remove the finished dough from the oven, cut or break according to the pre-designated gnocchi.
