Beetroot Stew with Prunes – quite an interesting classic dish from Jewish chefs. It may seem to someone that beets cannot be combined with prunes, but these two products are simply made for each other.

Recipe Ingredients

Beets 1 kg
Prunes 200 g
Butter 50 g
Water 0.5 cup

Cooking Recipe

To cook beetroot stew with prunes wash, peel and coarsely grate beets. Wash the prunes, add water and set aside for 15-20 minutes.

Melt the butter in a brazier and simmer the beets in it. Add prunes, water and simmer over low heat until cooked. After beets with prunes are cooked, add salt and sugar to taste.
