For the potato fingers recipe, peel the potatoes, boil them in slightly salted water, and then mash them in mashed potatoes. While the mashed potatoes are hot, add the starch, beat in an egg, add finely chopped herbs and mix well.
Put the dough on a board and carefully, since the dough is very airy, roll a sausage with a diameter of 1-1.5 cm. Cut the sausage into separate sticks 12-15 cm long and fry in hot fat or vegetable oil.
