Plum casserole – recipe for French cuisine, this recipe is very similar to clafoutis, but clafoutis is made from cherries. Like all practical housewives, the French women decided if it’s possible with cherries, why not with plums or other fruits or even berries.

Recipe Ingredients

Plums 500 g
Milk 360 ml
Eggs 4 pcs
Sugar 60 g

Cooking Recipe

For the French cuisine plum casserole, beat the eggs into the milk until fluffy. Next, add sugar, flour and vanilla, beat everything with a whisk until smooth.

Wash the plums, cut into halves, remove the pits and put in a continuous layer in a mold. Pour the plums with dough and place in an oven preheated to 160°С (320°F).

Bake casserole for 1-1.5 hours until golden brown. After baking, sprinkle the casserole with powdered sugar and serve warm or chilled.
