Pea and broccoli soup – recipe for Bulgarian cuisine, the soup is cooked in chicken broth, but you can do without it. Fresh green peas can be replaced with ice cream or canned.

Recipe Ingredients

Green Peas 400 g
Broccoli 400 g
Broth 200 ml
Onion 1 pcs
Cream 15% 0.5 cup
Butter 1 tbsp

Cooking Recipe

For the recipe pea and broccoli cream soup, sauté the finely chopped onion in a heavy bottomed pot. Add peas, broccoli, broth and 200 ml of water to the fried onions. Stir, cover and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.

After, remove the soup from the heat, cool slightly and grind into a puree with a blender. Pour heavy cream into soup, mix, warm, salt, pepper and serve.
