Ovdukh – cold Azerbaijani summer soup based on kefir, herbs and cucumbers. Sometimes kefir is diluted with water, covered with herbs, poured into tall glasses and drink.
To cook an Azerbaijani cuisine recipe ovdukh, wash cucumbers and chop finely. Wash greens and chop finely, boil eggs and cut lengthwise into four parts.
Pour chopped cucumbers, finely chopped greens into kefir, salt, pepper and mix. Pour the prepared ovdukh into plates, decorate with eggs and serve. If it's springtime, you can add finely chopped radish to ovdukh.
