For Dough
Wheat Flour 100 g
Almonds 200 g
Butter 250 g
Sugar 100 g
Honey 3 tsp
Eggs 3 pcs
Orange Peel 1 tsp
For Cream
Cream Cheese 300 g
Orange Juice 30 ml
Honey 1 tsp
Cream 33% 250 g
For decoration
Orange 1-2 pcs
Water 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tbsp

Cooking Recipe

For the orange honey cake, the almonds must be ground in a blender. Beat butter, add sugar, honey, and then, one at a time, add eggs. Beat everything well and, without ceasing to beat, add flour, baking powder, almonds and orange zest. Lubricate the baking dish with oil, put the dough and put in the oven preheated to 1180°С (355°F) for 40 minutes.

To cook the cream cheese, add the juice of half an orange, honey and mix everything well. Whip the cream and gently fold into the cheese mixture.

To decorate, pour water into a saucepan, add sugar and put on fire.

Warm the syrup to a state of caramel, and then put the peeled orange slices into it. Do not remove from heat until the slices are slightly caramelized.

Cool the baked cake and cut lengthwise. Put half of the cream on the bottom layer of the cake, cover with a second layer of cake, spread with the remaining cream. Arrange the caramelized orange slices on top of the cake. Orange honey cake is ready.
