- Bouillon 1 l
- Wheat flour 1 tbsp
- Butter 100 ml
Onion Soup Recipe
For the onion soup recipe, add the finely chopped onion and salt to the melted butter. Cover and simmer over medium heat for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally. After the onion becomes soft and plastic, remove the lid and slightly increase the heat. Continue to fry the onion, stirring constantly, until brown. The volume of the onion should decrease by 2-3 times.
After gently stir in the flour, and after 1 minute add the boiling broth. Bring soup to a boil, then add bay leaf and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, 10-15 minutes. Take out the bay leaf, pour into portioned plates.
Put a slice of fried loaf in each plate and sprinkle with grated cheese. Place the prepared bowls of onion soup in the oven and bake until the cheese is completely melted. Onion soup is ready to serve.
