Milk jelly – traditional dish of Russian cuisine. If you keep the jelly longer in the cold, you can put it out of the mold on a dish when serving and pour over the syrup.

Recipe Ingredients

Milk 640 ml
Sugar 80 g
For Syrup
Sugar 60 g
Water 120 ml

Cooking Recipe

For the milk jelly recipe, dilute the starch in a small amount of cold milk. Boil the rest of the milk and add sugar. Reduce the heat, and without ceasing to stir, add the diluted starch.

After 5 minutes, add vanilla sugar and remove from heat. Pour milk jelly into molds and let cool.

For cranberry syrup, dissolve sugar in warm water and place over medium heat. Add cranberries and boil for 7-10 minutes, then wipe the syrup through a sieve. Pour the cooled milk jelly with cranberry sauce and serve.
