Lagman – This is noodles with gravy made from meat and vegetables. The noodles practically float in a large amount of liquid. If you don’t want to bother with cooking noodles, you can take ready-made pasta to cook lagman. Spaghetti is very good for lagman.

Recipe Ingredients

For Noodles
Wheat Flour 500 g
Water 200 ml
For Gravy
Meat 400 g
Carrots 3 pcs
Onion 3 pcs
Garlic 1 clove
Tomatoes 3 pcs
Potatoes 3 pcs
Water 500 ml

Cooking Recipe

For the lagman recipe, knead the dough from flour, water and salt. Cover the dough with a towel and set aside for 15 minutes. In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil and fry the onion cut into half rings until golden brown. Then add chopped tomatoes and chopped garlic, pepper and fry for 5 minutes.

Finely chop the meat and add to the fried vegetables. After 10 minutes, add diced carrots and potatoes to the pan. Mix everything, salt, pour in water and simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes. In the meantime, while the gravy is stewing, you can continue cooking the noodles.

Roll up a sausage from the dough and generously grease it with vegetable oil. Let the oil soak a little for 3-4 minutes, grease your hands with oil and gradually, gently pulling, make noodles.

Boil the prepared noodles in salted water, put in a colander and arrange on plates. Put the gravy with liquid on top of the noodles. Sprinkle lagman with chopped herbs and serve.
