Dissolve yeast in 100 ml of warm water, add sifted flour, salt, add mashed potatoes and knead the dough. Cover the dough with foil and set aside in warmth for 2 hours.
When the dough rises, with wet hands divide the dough into 8 pieces and form into small donuts. Put the donuts in a frying pan with heated vegetable oil and fry on both sides until golden brown.
Fry donuts for about 4 minutes on each side. To remove excess oil, line the donuts on a paper towel.
