Frozen tomatoes – a food preservation recipe for the winter, frozen tomatoes may, of course, not be suitable for cooking salads, but for sauces, for pizza or for making gravy, stews and much more, it will be very fine. And yet, after freezing, tomatoes are very easy to peel off. You can freeze large tomatoes, medium or cherry tomatoes. You can also save tomatoes for the winter by cooking salted or pickled tomatoes.

To make frozen tomatoes, choose whole, not broken and dense varieties of tomatoes. Wash and dry the tomatoes well. To dry the tomatoes, you can lay them on a paper towel.

When the tomatoes are completely dry, transfer them to plastic bags. Try to remove as much air from the bag as possible, otherwise you will freeze the air. Transfer the wrapped tomatoes into the freezer and that's it.
