Fish soup with spices – a recipe for Moroccan cuisine, the soup turns out to be thick, rich, you can serve it with croutons and herbs.

Recipe Ingredients

White Fish 400 g
Onion 1 pcs
Water 1,5 l
Garlic 1 clove
Hot Pepper 2 pcs
Olive Oil 4 tbsp
Wheat Flour 1 tbsp
Cilantro 1 bunch
Bay Leaf 1 pcs
Clove 4 pcs
Ground Ginger 0.5 tsp

Cooking Recipe

For the spiced fish soup recipe, peel the onion, stick a clove in it and dip it in boiling water. Add salt, herbs (no need to cut), spices, hot peppers and oil there. Cover the pot with a lid and cook over low heat for 20 minutes.

Cut the fish into pieces, and when the broth is cooked, add pieces of fish to it. Cook also covered over low heat for 15 minutes. When the fish is completely cooked, strain the broth, separate the fish from the bones, if any, and transfer it back to the broth.

Onions, herbs and other spices will no longer be needed - you can not add them. Put the broth with fish on fire, add flour diluted in a small amount of broth, mix and warm for 5 minutes. Then remove from heat and grind with a blender.

When serving, add crushed garlic and chopped herbs to the Moroccan soup, if desired, you can serve with breadcrumbs.
