Duck with apples – this duck can be prepared for any occasion, its preparation does not require too much attention, and in the end it can turn out to be the most important and delicious dish on the festive table. If you didn’t manage to pickle the duck in mustard in the evening – this is not a problem, of course the taste will be a little different, but you can still fix it. Rub the duck with mustard, place in a plastic bag and leave at room temperature for 1-2 hours.

To prepare a apple duck recipe, wash the carcass well, dry it with a paper towel and coated it with mustard. Marinate the duck in mustard for 6-8 hours, that is, rub the duck better in the evening and pickle in the refrigerator until morning.
In the morning, remove the duck from the refrigerator and coat it well with a mixture of salt and pepper. Grind garlic separately with salt and pepper. Lubricate the duck inside with this mixture.
Wash apples, core and cut into slices. Place the prepared apples inside the duck and chop with toothpicks or sew the duck’s abdomen.
Lay the duck breast up on the baking sheet, cover with a film and place in the oven, heated to 160-180°C (320-355°F). Bake the duck under the foil for 1.5-2 hours.
After time, remove the baked duck from the oven, grease with honey and paprika. Put the duck again baked, but already without foil and at 220°C (430°F). Bake the duck for another 30 minutes until golden brown.
