Donuts – an American cuisine recipe, airy and delicious donuts that you cannot refuse. When you cut a hole in donuts, mugs of dough remain, these mugs can also be fried and you will get very neat and equally tasty balls.

Recipe Ingredients

Wheat Flour 800 g
Milk 450 ml
Dry Yeast 3 tsp
Butter 60 g
Egg Yolk 3 pcs
Cognac 50 ml
Vanilla Sugar 1-2 tsp
Sugar 4 tbsp
Salt 0.5 tsp
Powdered Sugar 100-150 g

Cooking Recipe

To cook the recipe, dilute donuts, yeast in warm milk, add sugar, salt, 300 g of flour, mix and put in heat for 1 hour. When the dough is right, add softened butter, yolks, cognac, vanilla sugar and stir. Gradually adding flour, knead the dough. Cover the prepared dough and heat for another 1 hour.

When the dough comes up, roll it out into a layer 3-4 mm thick and cut out the circles using a recess or glass. Cut a small circle in the middle of each mug, you can do this with a plastic soda cap or a pastry syringe attachment. Set aside prepared donuts to rise for about 1 hour.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan and gently dip the donuts that have come up. Fry donuts on both sides for 1-2 minutes on each side.

After frying, use a slotted spoon to spread the donuts on a napkin to remove oil residues.

When cutting holes, a small circle of dough remains. These mugs can be combined and reused in making donuts, or you can fry them to make wonderful little balls.

When the donuts and balls are cool, put them in a bag, add powdered sugar, twist or tie the bag and shake it well. Donuts should be dusted with powdered sugar evenly.
