Udon noodles are a type of Japanese wheat flour noodle. The color of the noodles can vary from white to off-white, the diameter is from 2 to 4 mm, this is the thickest noodles. Udon is used as an independent dish with or without sauce. Noodles are also used as a side dish for a number of dishes of chicken, meat, vegetables, fish or sea products. More common is a soup based on saturated broth with udon noodles.
