Tabasco sauce is a trade name for hot pepper sauces made from chili peppers, vinegar and salt. Almost all varieties of Tabasco sauces contain pulp of Tabasco pepper, a variety of chili peppers, and the original sauce, aged for three years in oak barrels, is made only from Tabasco pepper. Has a sour, piquant aroma. The sauce is used in the preparation of cash snacks, main courses, and also in drinks.
