Sun-Dried tomatoes are very popular in Italy and are very easy to cook on their own in the summer. Various snacks, sandwiches are prepared from sun-dried tomatoes, they are added when preparing meat or vegetable dishes. The very famous red pesto sauce is also prepared from sun-dried tomatoes.
