Soy sauce is one of the most common sauces in the world. Soy sauce is prepared by fermenting soybeans with special cultures of mushrooms, so this is one of the types of sauces, along with Worcestershire sauce that are bought ready-made – it is difficult to make soy sauce at home, to say the least. Soy sauce is an integral part of recipes for Japanese and Chinese dishes, as well as other Asian countries.
