Pear in red wine is a French dish made from aromatic pear varieties. Fruits are not just poured with wine, for a start a sauce is prepared from wine, sugar or honey and aromatic spices. After pears are added to the sauce, boiled and infused in the sauce for up to 12 hours. Serve this dessert with a scoop of ice cream, cookies and a glass of wine.
