Millet – cereals obtained from the fruits of cultivated species of millet (Panicum), freed from spikelet scales by peeling. The protein content in millet is quite high and is equal to the protein content in wheat - about 11% by weight. Millet is also rich in vitamins. Millet contains macro- and microelements necessary for the body.
