Food colors - a group of natural or synthetic colorants suitable for coloring food products. Traditionally, colored food juices, fruit juice, chopped flowers and parts of flowers, extracts and infusions (from roots, leaves, pericarp, etc.) were used as food colors. Dyes are very often used in cooking for coloring creams, desserts or cakes. Dyes come in the form of a powder, gel or liquid.
