Fermented shrimp

Fermented shrimp or Chotkal - very small shrimp in Korea are fermented and then used to prepare various dishes. Such prawns are added to the sauce as a flavoring additive, for the preparation of kimchi, in pork dishes. Fermented shrimp is sometimes added to soup or stew, replacing soy sauce. Shrimps are salted and therefore, when cooking, you need to very carefully salt the dish.
