Crab sticks – recipe ingredient

Crab sticks are fish fingers, they have nothing to do with crab, as they are prepared from processed fish protein surimi or from processed meat of white fish varieties. Invented crab sticks in Japan in 1973 under the name "Kanikama" and to this day their name has not changed. Crab sticks are universal - besides the fact that they themselves are very tasty, many dishes are prepared from them.
